1396 UnloadingUnload in under two minutes, even in high-moisture grain, with the 22" (24" on 2096) vertical unloading auger and 20" horizontal floor auger

  • Exclusive, full-length Extended Wear auger flighting manufactured of high-grade steel with a 7/16" thick outer edge for maximum life
  • Electronic balancing of the upper and lower augers provide longer-life and smooth operation at all speeds
  • Patented Soft-Start auger mechanism ensures smooth engagement of the upper and lower auger sections
1396 UnloadingPivoting unloading auger provides more than 5' of height adjustability which allows the operator to lower the auger to the truck when unloading and raise the auger when pulling away
  • Adjust auger reach up to 8' 11" from the cart for precise grain placement without repositioning the grain cart
  • The unloading auger fits completely within the cart's width for transport and storage ease
  • Easy-to-operate auger stand provides in-field position for auger, resulting in quicker raising and lowering
  • Dual L.E.D. vertical auger spotlights automatically turn on when the auger is unfolded for easier night time unloading
  • The vertical auger's hinged cleanout door features tool free access which allows for convenient pit dumping and cleanout

1396 Unloading Downspout

  • Standard bi-directional downspout allows you to easily move the downspout in-and-out for precise grain placement
  • An optional pistol-grip joystick remote provides 4-way downspout operation which allows you to move the downspout in-and-out and side-to-side for easily loading a semi with limited movement, saving wear and tear on the tractor's drivetrain
    • Optional, three-function remote control available on 1396 and 1196 to operate downspout left/right, downspout in/out and auger pivot up/down 
    • Optional, five-function remote control available on models 2096 and 1596 adds auger raise/lower and flow door open/close

 

1396 Unloading Drivetrain

The exclusive drivetrain design on Avalanche® grain carts combines a belt drive for the 20" horizontal auger and a heavy-duty direct-drive 90-degree gearbox for the vertical auger

  • Belt-drive features dual, four-strand belts and dual spring-loaded tensioners for long life and easy maintenance
  • Floor auger can be manually disengaged if needed
  • Quick-couple 1000 RPM P.T.O. shaft with overrunning friction clutch helps protect driveline
