OPERATE QUIETER

The new Horizon™ Ultra cab has not become the quietest tractor cab in the industry by accident. From the start, protecting the operator from the external environment was the focus of our engineers’ attention. The low 66 dBA noise level is an impressive value made possible by the new robotically welded cab frame and isolation from the tractor’s driveline. Noise quality has also been targeted resulting in upgrades to transmission components.

MORE SPACE

The new Horizon™ Ultra cab design is all about space. An enlarged frame creates more comfortable and functional room for the operator and extra storage space. Cab volume has increased 8% with a 33% wider cab entry, and a 14% larger door. It’s not just a larger physical cab, the feeling of space is enhanced by clever design that offers a true automotive feel.

The Horizon™ Ultra cab design includes 11% more glass area than the original Horizon cab. The front windshield has a curved upper beam to enhance the forward view, and the rear window is lengthened for an even better view of implements.

STORAGE AREAS AND SOLUTIONS

There’s plenty of space for storage in the open area behind the operator’s seat. Beneath the passenger seat is a five-gallon (20-litre) cooled compartment, while a covered area is found behind this seat. Open storage trays are located on the right side of the cab and a netted storage bin is located in the roof bezel.

MULTIPLE POWER LOCATIONS AND OPTIONS

The main connection panel, located in the right rear corner of the cab, contains ISOBUS, camera and power connectors. Multiple USB charging points, DC power output and additional power sockets are logically located around the cab. For example, next to the foot throttle is a 12v output to power the optional portable cooler.

CLIMATE CONTROL

Controlled from the armrest keypad or IntelliView™ 12 monitor, twin blower fans deliver up to 850 cubic yards (650m3) of air for very rapid cool down times, while five selectable zones direct air around the operator. Heated mirrors, front and rear screens can all be linked to the single defrost button.

As depicted in the video (left) for the GENESIS® T8 with PLM Intelligence™, this climate control feature is also found in the T7 with PLM Intelligence™.

LOW VIBRATION

Isolating the driver from the daily rigors of working in fields and tracks is handled by the standard Terraglide™ front axle suspension, the mechanical Comfort Ride™ cab suspension, and the widest selection of operator’s seats.

CAB SUSPENSION

Standard Mechanical Comfort Ride™
The standard mechanical Comfort Ride cab provides proven operator comfort. The cab’s spring and dampers are optimized to provide over 6 inches of travel, and the cab mounts are designed to reduce cab roll by up to 22% to ensure operator comfort. Cab roll is controlled, and three levels of ride can be selected. Cab and operator are completely isolated and virtually decoupled from the rest of the tractor.

Hydraulic Comfort Ride™ Semi-Active Cab Suspension
The Hydraulic Comfort Ride semi-active cab suspension with sky-hook control offers superior comfort giving the operator the ability to adjust and customize their field or road conditions. The semi-active cab’s rear dampers were replaced with hydraulic cylinders with integrated accumulators, control values and positional sensors. Auto leveling compensates for weight variations by maintaining mid-suspension position. Cab roll is controlled and three adjustable ride levels can be selected: normal, hard and soft to enhance the operator experience.

MEDIA

Thanks to an exceptionally low noise level, the operator can make the most of listening to media through a four-speaker audio system. The optional subwoofer adds extra power. Built-in Bluetooth® provides convenient hands-free mobile use. The satellite radio can stream media from a tablet or phone over Bluetooth® and also relay your mobile calls. A media keypad area on the armrest provides full control of connected devices.

24 LED LIGHTS FOR 24-HOUR WORKING

The T7 with PLM Intelligence™ boasts an impressive 45,600 lumens of available and full-function lighting power. A pair of rear cab corner lights are long-range lights that can illuminate the extreme corners of the widest implement at night. Similar lights are positioned over the hood to shine down the field. Two configurable memories can have any lights assigned to them to quickly switch light patterns—from left to right when working alongside a combine or forage harvester, for example.

LED ROAD LIGHTS

LED driving lights—both hood-mounted and high level—add clarity to the darkest road. Smart switching of high and low beams can be assigned to a configurable button on the CommandGrip™ multifunction handle, allowing the operator to focus on the road. The rear fender worklights double up as reversing lights, automatically illuminating when reverse is selected. A sensor automatically turns on the tractor’s road lights at dusk.

SideWinder™ Ultra: the ultimate ergonomic farming experience.

T9 with PLM Intelligence™ tractors offer sophisticated features that are easy and intuitive to access. The SideWinder Ultra armrest hosts all key controls, including throttle, transmission and hydraulics. Everything you need to control is intuitively selected. More advanced features can be quickly accessed.

Customizable Buttons: Up to 11 buttons can be personalized and configured on the SideWinder Ultra armrest. Located in strategic positions around the armrest: one on the multifunction handle, two on both the joystick and main keypad, four on the rear keypad, and one or two on the throttle/transmission keypad (depending on the transmission option selected). These buttons can be configured to suit both the task at hand and the specific preferences of the operator.
Adjustable SideWinder Ultra armrest: The SideWinder Ultra armrest can be adjusted to suit your specific requirements. Two manual levers adjust both the height and front/back position of the armrest for enhanced ergonomic operation.

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE

In the IntelliView™ 12 monitor’s standard operational layout, the screen is divided into four main areas:
• The top bar allows the operator to access tractor and operation settings.
• The run screens are located on the bottom bar and are customizable and always accessible.
• The main part of the screen is composed of the user-selected run screens, which show key parameters related to the task at hand.
• The left-hand side is another user definable window, which contains primary operating parameters such as fuel rate and slip.

PERFECT VIEW

In order to enhance transport safety, a viewing camera has been integrated into the hood. When approaching a traffic junction, this enables you to “see forward” for improved road safety. An additional advantage is that you have a perfect view of front-mounted implements, both while working in the field and when connecting in the yard.

THREE FACTORY-FITTED GUIDANCE PACKAGES

When ordering your T7 with PLM Intelligence™ tractor, you can choose between three different levels of guidance capability. This means that your tractor will arrive direct from the factory with the receiver unlocked to an accuracy level that best fits your operation. If your needs change, a receiver can be unlocked to a higher capability.

Level 1 is a low-level accuracy that will work with WAAS and PLM 1.
Level 2 unlock allows use of PLM 2 and PLM 3 accuracy subscriptions.
Level 3 unlock allows up to sub-1” accuracy with RTK and PLM RTK+ and will also work with VRS and CORS.

Lower-level accuracies will also work on machines unlocked to higher capability, meaning you could still run WAAS on a Level 3 unlocked machine.

FULLY INTEGRATED INTELLISTEER™ AUTOGUIDANCE

T7 with PLM Intelligence™ tractors are optional with IntelliSteer autoguidance for hands-free steering, and accuracy as precise as sub-inch to help you better maximize productivity and efficiency. BEST-IN-CLASS AUTONOMY Spend more time in the field without the need to stop for refueling. The 123-gallon (465 liter) fuel tank on the T7 Long Wheelbase models and 166-gallon (630 liter) fuel tank on the T7 Heavy Duty provide class leading fuel capacity.
EFFICIENT EMISSIONS Management of exhaust emissions occurs outside of the engine’s combustion chamber. With no internal gas recirculation or diesel particulate filters, the engine does what it does best—produces as much power using the least amount of fuel.
RESPONSIVE PERFORMANCE Variable geometry turbo technology ensures responsive performance by maintaining a maximum 946 ft-lbs (1282 Nm) of torque across a 500-rpm engine range on the T7 Heavy Duty models and up to 921 ft-lbs (1,249 Nm) on the T7 Long Wheelbase, so when the load increases, these T7 tractors punch above their weight.
REVERSIBLE FAN FOR FAST CLEANING The pitch of the fan can be reversed to clean the radiator and grille during the working day.
EXHAUST BRAKE ADDS STOPPING POWER A feature typically found on a commercial vehicle, the T7 with PLM Intelligence™ series option can significantly raise the breaking capacity available while descending gradients.
INTELLIGENT TRAILER BRAKE SYSTEM This award-winning system automatically applies pneumatic brakes on any trailed implement when the tractor is decelerated by engine and transmission braking force alone. So even with a heavy loaded trailer, stability is improved when slowing.

FOUR-RANGE AUTO COMMAND™ TRANSMISSION

Transferring the high torque of the engine to the ground is the job of Auto Command CVT (continuously variable transmission). With seamless shifting between four mechanical ranges, your working speed is always close to a mechanical drive point for the best efficiency.

SIMPLE CONTROL

New Holland T7 with PLM Intelligence™ T7.260 Use the CommandGrip™ multifunction handle to control tractor speed. The further you push the handle forward or back, the faster you accelerate forward or reverse.

ACTIVE STOPSTART

A key safety feature of the Auto Command™ CVT is Active StopStart. When the tractor comes to a standstill, the transmission prevents the tractor from moving backward or forward, even with a heavy load, so there’s no risk of roll back on steep inclines. For safe parking, you can easily engage an electronic brake using the shuttle lever.

FOUR-SPEED REAR PTO AND TWO-SPEED FRONT PTO

For lighter duties, the front and rear PTO systems feature economy speeds to drastically reduce fuel consumption.

MEGAFLOW™ 58 GPM OF OIL FLOW

Available with a torrential oil flow of 45 GPM (170 lpm) on the T7 Long Wheelbase models and 58 GPM (220 lpm) on the T7 Heavy Duty models. MegaFlow delivers the flow required by an implement at a lower engine speed. It’s another fuel-saving T7 with PLM Intelligence™ feature.

CONFIGURABLE REMOTE LEVERS

Five fingertip-operated remote valve levers are configurable to any valve on the tractor. Innovative LED color-coding clearly identifies the valve under control.

THREE-POINT LINKAGE LIMITS

Toward the rear on the right side of the armrest are the three-point hitch limit settings and four configurable controls. These can be assigned for different functions, such as a rear hydraulic top link. Controls are located for easy adjustment when you’re looking back at the implement.

SMART FENDER CONTROLS

For additional safety and convenience, the rear fender control can now include an engine stop function, the ability to switch between stored engine speeds and a hydraulic control that’s configurable to any service.

TERRAGLIDE™ FRONT AXLE SUSPENSION

The Terraglide saddle-type suspension is standard equipment for T7 with PLM Intelligence™ tractors. It provides three levels of ride control to absorb the shocks while providing precise steering control for road haulage tasks.

LARGE-DIAMETER TIRES

With tires up to 81 inches (2.1 m) on the T7 Long Wheelbase models and 85 inches (2.15 m) on the T7 Heavy Duty, these tractors have little trouble transmitting all their torque down to the ground and offering a large footprint for reduced soil compaction.

ADVANCED TRACTION MANAGEMENT

The New Holland Terralock™ system is well established. The operator simply selects the traction package needed for a specific application. Terralock will then engage and release the differential locks automatically. During a headland turn or moving from work to transport, Terralock will ensure the differentials and four-wheel drive are unlocked without operator intervention.

CUSTOMSTEER™ VARIABLE RATIO STEERING OPTION

To reduce the steering input when turning in the field or yard, CustomSteer can adjust the steering ratio, reducing the number of turns to obtain full lock. You can even set a different ratio in reverse for backing trailers.
